My 1st Cardi
If you've never knitted a cardigan before, you need this class. One of the most important skills all knitters need to understand is how to seam their pieces. Number 2 skill is making it fit and number 3 is how to block your project so it looks fabulous!!!
Bring a favorite cardi you love and we will plan your hand knit version based on it.
Worsted or Aran weight yarn will be used so it's a quicker knit.
As with all sweaters that need to fit, we'll start with a gauge swatch, decide what size to knit based on gauge. The pattern has 4 basic pieces, front, back, and 2 sleeves. We will learn to properly block and seam them together. The final step is picking up stitches for the ribbing.
