My First Shawl - Take The Chill Off



Take The Chill off is a great second step for those who haven't knitted a shawl before. You will learn everything you need to know except how to knit and purl. It is knit flat then seam into a shoulder wrap.
You will mainly use the Knit stitch plus yarn overs and knit two togethers.  Once completed, we will even learn how top properly block your wrap.

You will need 800 or 1200 yards of fingering weight yarn depending upon the size you knit. Plus size 3 or 4 circular needles, 32 inches.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Skills to learn: cable cast on, K2tog, YO, seaming, double YO's, how to read a pattern, how to block your finished project.
Materials Included: Supplies must be purchased from Southern Twist: 800/1200 yards fingering wt yarn, size 3/4 32
Requirements: You must already know how to Knit, purl and cast on and bind off
