Get Your "Granny" On with Rachael
Granny Squares (and crochet square motifs) are the perfect little bite size projects to expand your crochet techniques. This class will focus on the classic granny BUT we will also have a few new squares to practice as well. Granny Squares are an excellent way to play with colors, explore new yarns and play with patterns.
It's likely you know the granny square blanket but these beauties can be turned into pillows, purses, sweaters, scarves and so much more.
In this class we will learn how to:
* make a classic granny square
* make a magic circle
* join new colors
* join squares together
* read a crochet chart
Participants should be comfortable with tensioning their yarn and know how to chain, single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch and follow a pattern.
